| Arrival – City Tour – Hotel
Meet and greet at airport, then proceed for a city tour. Among the must-see is Tun Mustapha Building, formerly known as Sabah Foundation Building - an architectural marvel as one of the few hanging structures in the world; the Chinese Buddhist Temple; pass through the magnificent site of the State Mosque with its majestic domes aligned with gold motifs. After tour, check in to your hotel. Free at own leisure until time for dinner at a local restaurant serving local cuisine. | Hotel – KK Heritage Walk – Hotel
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and proceed to Padang Merdeka. Meet and greet with our Heritage Guide. The duration of the Walk, beginning from the Padang Merdeka takes approximately two and a half hours with interesting commentary on the pre-war, post-war and post-independence eras of Kota Kinabalu by the Guide. Your Heritage Guide will proceed with the tour right at the Padang Merdeka and the walk will cover other historical sites and buildings such as the Atkinson Clock Tower, Australia Place, Community Centre, Sabah Tourism Building, Jesselton Hotel, Gaya Street, Pocket Park, Malaysia Monument, North Borneo War Memorial and the City Council (Hall). Return back to your hotel. In the evening, proceed for a delicious seafood dinner and enjoy a cultural show. | Hotel – Poring Hot Spring/Canopy Walk – Kinabalu Park – Hotel Lodge
After breakfast, take an adventurous 2 hours drive across mountainous Crocker Range with views of rolling hills and lush green countryside up to Kundasang where you will be amazed by the majestic Mount Kinabalu, the fourth tallest mountain in South East Asia. Proceed to Poring Hot Springs which is about 1 hour drive from the park - where you can dip in the revitalising hot sulphuric springs which is said to have healing properties for the skin. In Poring, one can also experience the walk across the 41 Meter high Canopy Walkway which will provide you with a canopy view of the Borneo Rainforest flora and if one is lucky spot wildlife which habituates the area.
After lunch, proceed to the famed Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s first World Heritage Site and a sanctuary to thousands species of flora and fauna, haven for researchers and enthusiasts. Here, you have an option to go on a guided tour of the Botanical Garden which is one of the many different types of nature trails in the park.
