Airport/Hotel – Kinabalu Park - Pendant Hut

(Arrival Flight Before 6am)

 

Meet and greet at the airport/hotel and proceed to 2 hours journey across the mountainous Crocker Range with amazing views of rolling hills and lush green countryside. 0800hrs arrive at the famed Kinabalu Park, register with the park authorities and collect your packed lunch which you can enjoy on the way up to the mountain. 0830 hrs head to Timpohon Gate where climbers will start the adventurous leg up to Laban Rata with an experienced mountain guide. 1500 hrs arrive at Pendant Hut, check in followed by a safety briefing by Mountain Torq trainer at 1530 hrs. At 1800 hrs proceed for dinner at a restaurant in Laban Rata. Overnight at Pendant Hut dormitory (non-heated).

Day 2

 

 
Pendant Hut – Summit – Pendant Hut – Timpohon Gate – Kinabalu Headquarter – Hotel/Airport

 

0130hrs – an early rise for light breakfast then hike up to Low’s Peak Circuit to reach summit for sunrise. Upon reaching Low’s Peak – the highest point of Mount Kinabalu, be awed by the view of the first burst of sunrise in the distance, a view that many have stated as indescribable. 0630 hrs meet your Mountain Torq trainer for the Low’s Peak Circuit activity down to Pendant Hut for late breakfast. Along the way you will see stunning views and hidden corners of the mountain plateau. 1130 hrs check out and descend to Timpohon Gate. Here a transfer will take you to the headquarters to collect your certificate for completion of the climb and return to Kota Kinabalu hotel (own arrangement)/airport.
