Meet at the hotel lobby and proceed for a 30 minute journey from the city center to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. Here, you’ll be able to “rub shoulders” with a distant cousin of humanity - Orang Utan. Known as “Man of the Jungle” by natives, these nearly extinct wonders of nature can only be found in certain parts of Malaysia and Indonesia. Wildlife parks like Lok Kawi Wildlife Park give us a chance to have a glimpse of these magnificent creatures.

From here, proceed for a 1 1/2 hour drive to Kota Klias. Arriving at Kota Klias Jetty, enjoy a light refreshment of local coffee or tea and cakes. By 4 pm, board a boat that will take you on a search for wildlife, especially the famed Proboscis Monkeys which are only found in Borneo. Among other wildlife are the macaques, the rare Silver Langur - nicknamed David Beckham by the locals because of the pointed shape hair on its head, adolescent crocodiles and many more. When darkness sets in, on the return journey to the jetty, witness nature's display of Christmas lights - the Fireflies. A local buffet dinner will be served by the river bank upon your arrival at the jetty. After dinner, return back to the hotel.
