2.00pm - Meet at the hotel lobby and proceed to Kota Klias which would take approximately 2 hours by road. The drive passes Sabah’s countryside, quaint villages, paddy fields, small towns, plantations and mangrove forest. As one makes the journey, one can see the changing of ambiance from the city to a quiet haven for nature. Arriving at Kota Klias Jetty, enjoy a light refreshment of local coffee or tea and cakes.

By 4.00pm, board a boat that will take you on a search for wildlife, especially the famed Proboscis Monkeys which are only found in Borneo. Among other wildlife are the Macaques, the rare Silver Langur - nicknamed David Beckham by the locals because of the pointed shape hair on its head, adolescent crocodiles and many more.

When darkness sets in, on the return journey to the jetty, witness nature's display of Christmas lights - the Fireflies. Then a local buffet dinner will be served by the river bank upon your arrival at the jetty. After dinner, return back to the hotel.
