Meet in hotel lobby, then proceed for an introductory tour of Kota Kinabalu. Your first stop will be the Temple of Goddess of Mercy or “Pu Toh Tze” where you are allowed to pay respects to the Goddess at the temple’s main hall. Continue your journey to Wisma Tun Mustapha or formerly known as Wisma Yayasan Sabah. A cylinder shape building. It was one of the early pioneering sights of Sabah. It boasts its own symphony hall along with a revolving restaurant.

After that, you’ll move on to The Golden Domed mosque of Sabah situated at Sembulan. Then proceed for a Tea break in the form of Roti Canai and Teh Tarik will be served before you continue your journey. Brought by immigrating Tamils of southern India, Roti Canai and Teh Tarik are now a favourite breakfast of all Malaysian.

A 30 minute journey from the city center will take you to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. Here, you’ll be able to “rub shoulders” with a distant cousin of humanity - Orang Utan. Known as “Man of the Jungle” by natives, these nearly extinct wonders of nature can only be found in certain parts of Malaysia and Indonesia. A wildlife park such as this gives us a chance to have a glimpse of these magnificent creatures. After tour, return back to the hotel.
