8.30am - Meet at the hotel lobby and proceed to the largest Orchid Farm in Sabah (Orchid De Villa). The journey to the farm will take about 40 minutes from Kota Kinabalu passing through humble villages, hillside scenery and paddy fields.

In the Orchid Farm, visitors will get to see 10,000 different types of common orchids and over 300 species of orchids ranging from rare, exotic and indigenous. The varieties of colours and sizes will leave enthusiasts amazed with the vast beauties of Sabah’s flora.

There are also exhibitions and write-ups on how commercial orchids are grown presently on a large scale compared to their humble beginnings in the wild.

Lastly, before leaving the farm, one can purchase some of these orchids to take back as souvenirs. Freshly cut flowers in boxes can also be purchased as gifts. After the tour, proceed back to hotel.
